What type of sealant have members used when connecting the fuel connector from their outboard fuel line to the tank pick up? My current one on top of the portable tank has split so I have to refit.

Where you push the fuel line on to the tank. I have to fit the Suzuki ( in this case) “receiver” into the threaded top of the fuel pickup. The old one had some kind of sealant in it but I don’t know what it was.

I’m lazy and just use stag. For anything fuel related that doesn’t have any flex involved

Plumbers use it but with fuel it will go hard and brittle. I stopped using it for fuel related uses because if that. Still a great product though.
Hence non flexing areas
I used that and aviation gasket with the vintage cars I’ve owned.
loctite will have a product I’m sure that suits

The plastic tanks will not leak where the fitting screws in if that's what you mean, the thread will seal off OK.
