Big Flatties still around!!

Fished the seaway with big plastics in beautiful marble-coloured water when the run in mixed with rain run off on the weekend.

Scored an 87, 84, and a 70cm.
Lost a nice 60 cm tailor off the frothy water on a 6 inch unweighted sluggo right at the boat after bite through the 14lb leader ... oh well!
Lost a fair few lures its no cheap exercise deep jigging the walls with big plastics!!

Tried for jewies with livies at the pin the next day but only scored a tiddler ... but nice photo anyhow!

Saw a nice jew scored on the pipeline from another boat so they're around for sure! ..... next time.

Great fish Franco! Good to see they're still around - Actually, I saw on Nuggets report on 10 last Friday the video footage of the big mummas still swimming around. I think you just went and caught them all! They'll probably stick around for a little longer due to this rain we're having

Hi Rob:

New boat is a 5m haines hunter side console with a 90 Etec on the back, in open boat layout, much like the Southern Star Stealth. Bought it off Steve from the pics above. We were fishing outta his boat that day. Will post photos of the new rig soon; gotta take some for the insurance!
Did you fish last weekend ?? Any prize catches for the club meeting?!!

I was invited on a trip outside with Jeremy, and I disgraced myself.

No fish for me - only 2 spews. Lost my best Queenfish lure to a Tuna.

I'm going to have a look at the pin early on Saturday though - forecast looks good at the mo'.
