    info on charging circuit

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if a 94 model 15hp johnson (pull start, tiller steer) has a charging circuit for a 12v battery.
    Any reply would be appreciated.

    Hi Adza,
I honestly wouldn't have a clue but I'm sure if they don't there is an after market one that will fit.
    Ask your local marine shop.

    Cheers,

    Re: info on charging circuit

The charge (voltage) is generated by a set of windings under the fly wheel.
If your motor has a charging curcuit there will be wires, probably terminating in an unconnected plug under the big round thing (non technical term) on top of the motor.

    But I doubt it.
Most motors 25hp and under don't come standard with a charging curcuit.
