Can You Run Hotter Spark Plug's in Outboard

My Outboard coming up to 10yrs shortly and the plugs aslo been oiling up lately yes I do the right pre mix for the 90hp V4 2 stroke outboard ratio 50 to 1 eg 240mls of oil to 12 litres of fuel,
I currently run Champion QL77JC4 spark plugs looking to go one level to a hotter plug to A NGK R BPZ8HS10 in the outboard my only concerns is long as don't burn a hole in the top of pistons over time
By doing this should get rid of the oiling of the plugs and hopefully trouble free boating [smiley=anxious.gif] or am I heading in the wrong [smiley=dunce.gif]direction :question

    Hi Guy's only new here.

Redspecle with your oiling up, few things I would check first.
Is your engine getting up to temp, enough to burn the oil off the plugs.
maybe pull the thermostat and see if it is jamed open.

Then again maybe she needs a good solid run 10- 20 mins of high revs with engine load of course.

You need to clear the crank case of all the oil and to do that the motor has to get hot down there in the crank casing.

Hows the motor starting, idling, running otherwise.

    Mitch,

you are using the wrong plug anyway

you should be using a QL78YC plug
