very nice rig...my mum said we have a distant columbian cousin i may try and find him and convince him how much i need a kevla cat too!!!First went on one on a charter out of tweed (kingscliffe charters) fell in love with the boats very nice ride.Anyway may run into you one day mate

I have recently purchased a 21ft caribbean reefrunner with a 175 hp Evinrude, picked up the boat for $12,000 but with added extras including a new s/s 220L fuel tank,GPS ,rocket launches and rod holders,bollards e.t.c. its now a graet boat for only $20,000. Alright, I'm a bit slow finding this thread, but here's my rig.
It's an old 15ft Nautiglas hull that was customised to a centre console. Would you believe it had landed a 250 kg blue marlin by the previous owner? Hmmm I'm not sure either. But it's got marlin to 125kg with me.
I've done heaps of custom work to it including all the gps and global map setup, extra rod holders (pointing everywhere), 70litre live bait tank, dual batteries, carpet etc etc.

She's done we well enough so far, but I'm working towards a Cruise Craft Outsider 575.

Well here is my tub
It's a Yalta Craft 615 Odessa with a Yamaha 200hp 4 stroke.
Only picked her up just before xmas and with the way the weather has been up this way haven't used it much at all. However the winds appear to be dropping for us this weekend so I am definately wetting a line, hopefully the fish gods will be smiling on us.

Well Aido, what can I say Its fantastic in every way, super quiet, great fuel ecconomy and top end speed of 50mph (sea permiting). Im more than happy with the ride of the Yalta, reminds me of my old v19r haines always feels safe no matter how bad the weather is. I'd be interested to know what other people think of Yalta's.
