dont think its real, there would be more bend in the back and strain on the face, the weight of the fish would also make the hand sink into the flesh of the fish more

I have no idea if it's real or not, but fingers normally give a set-up away. Have a look at the size of the fingers under the fish and you can normally tell if it's doctored or held out a long way. There was a 'photo of a supposed 60cm Bass doing the rounds down south, and if it was that big, the guy holding it had a pointer finger almost 30mm wide. Autocad is a great lie detector.
