That's not me bassfisher02. I just found that picture on the net somewhere and thought it was funny so I posted it here. I'm crazy, but I'm not THAT crazy! Sticking your head in a giant catfish's mouth is on a whole different level. I don't know where the guy caught the thing but you're right, that would be a heck of a nice fish to catch!

I never thought of that Basserman. Upon closer inspection, I do believe you may be right. For the guy's sake and indeed, for the sake of all humanity, I hope you are! I hate to think that someone would willingly stuff their head into the mouth of a giant catfish!

If he DID stuff his head into the fish's mouth, I wonder when, in the course of the day, the epiphone came to him? Does a man willingly shove his head into the jaws of a giant, smelly catfish on a spur of the moment, or does he plan to do it a day or days in advance? Did he wake up that morning saying, "Well, today is THE day! I shall catch a giant catfish and stick my head in its mouth and thus win the respect of my fellow man! I shall become immortal through this amazing deed!"

Does he get really, really drunk, grab a fishing rod and decide his destiny as the situation developes before him. "Hey Bubba! C'mere wit yer camera! Ah gots a great idea fer a picture what ta put on the internet!" He does this, of course, for the fame and notoriety he believes this course of action will result in for him. Bubba, of course, decides to go along with it and take the picture for the same reason. "Ah'll forever be known as the guy what took that funny picture of Cletus stickin' his head into that giant catfish's mouth!" and there you have it.

It's like you said Basserman. He was innocent of all stupidity and was thrust into his situation by the forces of fate and mother nature working together in an evil plot to forever destroy this poor man's dignity and social life. I wonder if he deserved it? Was being caught on camera with his head in the fish's mouth a sort of Karma-ish come-upance for something he did? I wonder if anyone will ever know (or care ). If that is the case, I wonder what will happen to the guy who snapped the picture? I'd hate to see what his head will get stuck into ...
