camping fishing and gem fossicing

hi all i am after info on places in new england gem field area where i can camp close to water look for gems and when my back starts to get tired and sore from working the seives i can get up and walk the rivers or creeks for trout or natives :GOODOO

There are nice places around Glen Innes where ya can look for a sapphire an do a little fishin as well. Check out the G.I Tourist info placeAlso Inverells copeton dam is a nice place(Not a lot of water at the moment)Can go sapphireing there also old diamond mine there.The old minesite at Howell near copeton could be fun also.Also gold and rubys down Bingara way from copeton.
