New Titatn2 big screen ad-on for Garmin GPSMAP

Hi all, we have jus announced the new titan2 Big screen Add on kits for Garmin 84xx/9xxx MFDs with some big improvements over the gen1 units.
We have improved the thermal cooling propperties and made the housing out of cast aluminum
We have included a bail mount
we have included a removal sun cover
New 8mt OTG usb/HDMI cables with garmin screw connectors.

available in 18.5" and 24"

Steve Morgan is already complaining about his battery power to run 3 screens may be Garmin will give him the new 18.5 and 24 inch screens to drop his power consumption.

Moose, are these a slave screen to connect to say an 8412? I've just mounted a 12" Garmin to the front of our tinny for the Live and I'm now going to do the same on our Cruise Craft, maybe these are an option to mount up front instead of getting another 8412.

Yes they are slave, so they duplicate whats on the 8412. they are best suited in dual station/area situations where you are only looking at one screen at once, or in larger vessels. the vast majority of our clients are bass/bream boats wanting a larger screen up front for casting, flybridge vessels that have their main electronics down stairs with just our monitor up top and in larger cuddy style where the main screen is often mounted in the bait board or transom and our larger screen at the helm.

Awesome, once I get this front mount for the 12", I'll check that it is strong enough to carry the 18" and get an order in.
Another question, would these be able to connect to an Ultra 2 Echomap? I went with twin 12" Ultra 2's in our tinny as I wanted the push button option for changing screens quickly, and they are exposed to weather full time. I'm guessing it's just the GPSMAP due to drivers though.

No unfortunately the Echomap UHD or ULTRA series have video out capacity, the titan2 will only wotk with GPSMAP 84xx 9XXX and black box series MFDs ,
i can say though that the touch screen works very well when wet. ill put up a video in a moment.
