Was thinking that by bringing that 400kg tiger into the boat with 6 people onboard it might have been exceeding the boats limits????????.

Did you ever go to Vic Hislops shark show...?..I still remember seeing it when it was in Airlie beach about 30 years back...it was quite extraordinary, some of the photo's, videos and even some of the little dinghys/tinnies he used to catch them in as well as his big old 5m frozen Great white...

It closed in 206, he then bought the Commercial Hotel in Halifax NQ and turned into his own house.
One of the sad signs of our times is that we have demonized those who produce, subsidized those who refuse to produce and canonized those who complain.

I’ve been in that pub they have a good collection of sea stuff all around the walls like the biggest Barra and mud crab caught in the area and the coldest stubbies.

I could quite easily sit quietly sipping a beer while old Vic recounted some stories of the old days...Lovely looking old pub he bought too..12 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and listed at 350K 18 months back.....seems Vic has an eye for a bargain..!..I hope he is quietly thinning out the shark population around here...

Sky news today was still running with tagline scrolling along at the bottom of the page that the fisherman was attacked by a shark...

He carried a couple of shot guns. As soon as they came near the boat they were slowed up significantly with SG's.

He had a nifty trailerable cat, more like a seaworthy houseboat. I ran into him and one of his mates in a creek at Fraser a few years back.

I was also a 'victim' of a wobbegong attack at Tangalooma. I was wearing snorkelling gear and hanging on the side of a wreck when one came up from the bottom and grabbed my fin. He was quite vigorous and got the fin off, then dropped it and went back to his home. Interesting morning.
