Nomad Seacore Allround Spin plastics question

    Hey Guys

I'm looking to offload a bunch of old cheap rods in favour of one mid-quality off-shore casting spin rod that can do a few different jobs.

My aim is stickbait/slug casting for tuna, mackerel, and also float-lining/soft plastics for snapper. This is for SEQ .. so no Great Barrier Reef cannon required.

So far I am favouring :

Nomad Seacore Allround Spin 7'4' one piece 20-40LB line 30-80gm lure.

My question around what would be the smallest size plastic jighead I could expect to use with this outfit ? Any thoughts ?

Happy to hear your thoughts also on the rod as well ... there's virtually no "non-Nomad" reviews out there on these rods.

    Cheers

Hi mate based on the rod specs I’d say one ounce (30 grams). At 7’ 4” it’s not really a plastics rod though.

I like the look of those sea core rods. Reasonably priced too.
