Copy of Garmin Homeport

Hi, my computer recently died with all my information / apps etc on it, just brought another one and went to download Homeport and found it’s been discontinued, I have had a look at Active Captain and it’s not what I want, if anyone has it on an ssd card or something else, happy to pay

That was one of many sites I tried, it will let you push the download button and then bring you back to the same screen saying its unavailable , thankyou anyway, it would seem I need a copy of one someone has downloaded onto a computer or has saved somewhere

Doug, I'll fire up my old laptop, I may have downloaded the executable for Homeport. Let you know tomorrow. I did have it on an SD card but loaned it out and haven't seen it since a d forgotten to whom I lent it.

I checked my computer and no longer have the executable file...unless it is a generic name....
The Garmin program that was before homeport would not install onto the computer due to the install connecting to Garmin...this terminated install after discontinuation.
You may have the same problem here.

I preferred the program before homeport...it was easier to use and had more options.
I junked homeport soon after installation.

That'll work. I couldn't find the download file today so can't really help unfortunately. I would like a back up myself, I know it's a bit clunky but allows me to add/delete WPS etc and upload back to the chartplotter. Active Captain is something I can't seem to get my mind around for simple changes I need to make.

Can you zip it or is that already the zipped size?

I zipped it and it dropped from 36 to 35 mb

That's a bummer. Oh well, I just hope I don't lose mine off the laptop.
