The BIG one that got away!


This was the biggest bite I have ever experienced. My rod was resting on a really heavy metallic rod-holder when a big fish took the bait and ran with such force that it bent the rod-holder before the hook gave way. One thing I am happy about though is that my modified uni-knot did not slip!

might want to back off the drag a bit mate...
and whats your modified uni-knot..?

Agree, the drag was too tight. Also, need to use better hooks next time as the hook gave way quickly.
