    Whos been Fushing

Now apart from Covid , Corrupt Poliies etc , who has been wetting a line at all and how have their catches been??..
Oh yes also see where the native Alaskans have had their King salmon allowance taken away from them due to Climate Change and Overfishing ..

I’ve been out a few times chasing cod and yellowbelly and got a few fish
cod season is shut now apart from two dams

The weather really hasn’t helped winds rain a late winter cold spike, fishing for cod in 20 Kph winds and 6 degree ambient temps isn’t that enjoyable lol

spend more time collecting tackle I’ll probably never use of late

i've also been out getting a few yella's at Copeton dam one of the dams that is still open to Cod. Going out again tomorrow, if the wind drops.

Been chasing some muddies, but our poor local area has been flogged

Tried for some Fingermark a couple of days ago, couldn't get past the sharks, did manage a few undersize Lippers though.

The Barra have been eluding us also, not through lack of trying, but will have another crack this week.
    Cheers

Set up a path for a electric motor to follow than put a tarp over the tinnys front half with a little heater going, troll some slow lures

    Fishing
Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Gas heater on a boat not really that safe
more the dams get significant waves and chop on them in any wind and it’s the overnight temps as I camp overnight to make the drive worth the effort and fish both days

I’ve got decent cold weather and wet weather gear now and it’s still shit waking up at 5am and it’s -3 and the baits covered in ice
