Makes ya wonder floor and under floor structure is fibreglassed but being submerged it only takes one pin head hole at x depth x pressure for all the water to flood the plywood

When u laminate plywood only the outside laminate gets resin soaked the glue between the verniers stops any resin going deeper

So one would imagine this hull would need a total overhaul

No timber In the hull structure on Kevlacats, earlier ones have a timber deck
Only an assumption but wouldn’t be surprised if a few roll overs have occurred due to water being in one hull causing stability issues, only scare I have had was my own fault heading out of Mooloolaba on a low tide with a bit of swell at night and got hit by a wave as high as the cab on the side, thought it was going over but snapped straight back, all happened in seconds
    Mercury 115ct going strong😁
