    Walk or run away from this huge cat?

    My mate is thinking of buying this huge ass cat i have told him to walk away from it due to the electrolysis whats your thoughts? Price is unbelievable for that size craft

    Too big for me, my mate has a new bt50 would the bt even tow this thing?

    I would be lacing up the running shoes....if you can see corrosion holes, where you can't see will be a thousand times worse (in my opinion)

    Few tubes of JB weld or Sika and a couple of cans of bunnings spraypaint and she would be as good as new...

    15k on the water , would even build a new ally trailer in that figure
    I’d weld in a fake floor and use the holes at the front of the hull as a flooded keel

    Its listed for 14k my mate said the seller will take 9k, no its not for me my mate has since pulled out and said he doesnt want it

    For me i would possibly check out a scarab if one came up really cheap 26 to 30ft it wouldbe a journy to rebuild tho donno how it would go heing parked on the street

    Would love a F233 project right now... harder to find than rocking horse shit in aus tho

    Jeezuz christ--I've worked with and owned large aluminium hulls for a long time, and I've never seen electolysis as bad as that. Left permanently moored with no hull anodes? Painted with copper-based antifouling? Wired up using the hull as earth return? Parked at a wharf with bad electrics?

    What are the outboards worth? That is the only value in the boat.


    Trailer wheels look ok, but hard to tell from this distance.

    I think the bloke will be trying to get his money back for the engins $9000, hull and trailer no good, the hull has more holes but im limited to 5 pics
