    Panopticon/Livescope Experience Offshore.

Hi all. I’m wondering if any members have the Garmin Livescope setup on their offshore boats. I see there’s a lot of material online but the majority of it is of lake/fresh water shallow fishing.

wanted to see more on how the application works for offshore boats in up to 100m maybe up to the 150m mark for fishing those deeper wrecks etc.

Without some form of gyro stabilisation it will be difficult to decipher in any sort of wave action I would have thought. This is one of the reasons the Furuno 3d system is the pic for offshore. The livescope frequencies also mean a pretty limited range - specially in the salt.

my vehicle decided it wanted to turn on every dash light and started dropping power last night on the way home.
Hoping it’s not terminal , waiting for a tow truck to come get it.

So that’s my leave wasted-due to a pile of crap 2015 Mitsubishi challenger
