Wired up new switch panels from oz tech marine. They do a nice job laser cutting custom panels to any size. The switches they provided were rubbish and I swapped them out for hella marine switches but otherwise really happy with their service!

Replaced my trailer skids with these C shape ones from https://roxom.com.au/

Easy to install not having to countersink rivets on top and slippery as! Can highly recommend. Hopefully they last well

Nice job there Wahoo. Is it too rude to ask what the switch panels set you back?

Not at all! $320 for both. They sell some stock size ones for cheaper, these were measured to fit my dash. They come with switches but they were junk so I swapped them out for hella marine switches at $30 each

New rims/tyres time for the trailer. They came with centrecaps which look pretty but a bit worried about them holding water... Is anyone running centrecaps and do they cause corrosion? Thinking it might be best to pull them off?

Replace them with nice shinny new durahubs.

Fun day for me... I noticed the rust around the swivel hub part and priced new ones only a few weeks ago but the axle beat me to it

Very lucky though, 2 hours on the highway at 100kph, stopped for half an hour, left again and it snapped doing 2kph! No damage to anything else so counting it as a win!

Has anyone had any experience with the swiftco torsion axles compared to the alko? Look very similar. 2 week wait for swiftco to be made compared to 6 weeks for alko

I couldn’t wait for Alko either and ended up going leaf springs. Glad I did also as the ride was far softer afterwards.
