looks like the web hosting is only $20 a month to. correct me if i am wrong from crazy domains.
I've just moved to a new platform on the PC called Brave as I upgraded the SSD as the old hard drive was wearing out. I've yet to try ausfish on their yet but Brave is behaving much better than MS Edge, Google Chrome etc with most ads blocked. I've been busy reloading some software and tidying things up but will let you know how it goes.
Unfortunately social media has taken over a lot of forums and there was also some poor behaviour by some of the members here which caused quite a few of some of the better ones to leave, many who had a wealth of knowledge.
There's still a few die-hards here who are very helpful.

I get this on every forum I'm on, it's not just related to Ausfish, and I doubt there's anything we can do about it. It's the way of the world now and it's only going to get better, just wait till your car has advertising pop-ups every time you touch a button or touch the touchscreen. Ford have even applied for a patent for it.

Corry, half the forums now don't work properly, there's not enough support for them to do more than keep them just running. I've only been using Brave for a week and with ad blocker set on I'm amazed at how little I'm seeing, even "sponsored" sires have virtually been eliminated.
My wife has a new car and I wouldn't be surprised if it won't happen soon on the next software update. It's got too many bells and whistles for my liking.

You don’t seem to get these sorts of problems on thehulltruth. Yes when zooming in on a pic but not the rest of the rubbish

THT has a much wider audience so has the impetus to keep ot up to speed.

I'd hate to see this forum close but some days when I log on all I see is lots if posts on world politics, football and subjects that have nothing to do with FISHING. In other words it is in some ways just becoming another social media platform.
