    Offshore Brisbane report 23/3/19

Got up at 2:30 fuffed about till 3;30 had breaky etc, drove to boat ramp by 4:30/ 5 then took a run out to the reef got there around 6.
So by now I'm already buggered

Trolled for an hour or so and had one big hit but it bit me off. Pretty sure that lure had wire obviously not enough wire.
Trolled out to my old stomping ground and packed the lures away and managed to get 4 nice snapper pretty quickly.
Trolled back in for a bit and both rods went off at one stage but lost one and got the other in, just a Tuna unfortunately was targeting Mackerel.

Packed the rods away and put the foot down and got back to the ramp by about 12:30 and home by 1:30 / 2.

Have some filleting to do once it cools down. Had an amazing day fishing solo. It's been so long since I've been out it reminded me that all the hard work keeping the boat maintenance up to speed is all worth it.

    Good effort mate.
I bet it was a flat sea with stuff all wind.
It was almost glass out there on Friday.
