    Also does anyone know or have any info on the FAD's off the south straddy artificial reef?? Pretty sure they didn't get re deployed last year.. I know they usually move them for whale season (stupid seeming they leave the shark nets out)

    With the amount of fishing i have done lately anything with a fin is a bonus.

    At least one little black caught up the top of Platypus Bay in the past week. Mark Bargenquast put his son Jackson onto his first billfish in the shallows.

    Whitsundays light tackle gamefishing tournament starts tomorrow for 3 days. Will let y'all know the score Sunday night!

    A mate hooked up to a little fella off his kayak north of Teewah on a live yakka yesterday. So they are around the inshore grounds already boys, he would be no more than 1klm or so off shore.

    Saw 3 hooked 2 landed 0. Up near wathumba. Fraser island.

    Whitsundays tournament finished today with 60 billfish raised and 22tagged from 32 boats in 2.5 days of fishing. Mostly small blacks and a few sailfish up to 50kg. Marlin from 10 - 100kg and the obligatory tunas, wahoo, mahi mahi, mackerel and Cobia killing time between the big ones. Winning team caught 4 blacks on the first day.
