Water quality testing has revealed abnormal levels of Enterococci Exceedance bacteria.


Seqwater’s water quality team have recommended the lake be closed until further testing can be undertaken. This closure applys to all access including Shore based Fishing.

Maybe run off from the cow & horse poop from properties in the catchment area!!

I wonder if the rowing club and ski club have also been stopped from accessing the dam?
