    1770 ~Reds and Trout

A mate and I left for 1770 Thursday mid-morning, arriving to beautiful weather. Arrived at Boult reef around 5.30pm, anchored up for a feed and then into some red throats. Had a good night sleep, then up early to chase some trout and some red emperor !!
This trip caught me, my biggest ever RED going 14+ kg ! Most trout and Reds were caught with PE tackle.
This trip we used herring and mullet for bait which we caught our selves

Left for home 5.30am Saturday arriving at ramp by 7.15am.

Well done on the red fish. Looks like you had some cloud cover at least to keep the sun at bay.

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

Fishing can be defined as "A jerk on one end of the rod, waiting for a jerk on the other".
"Fishing was around along time before you darling"
