    Mate

Inox will not affect your line
The best to spray you reels and rods is Inox Lanolin(Lanolin is sheep wool greast/fat so it is natural)

I haven't ever had this problem with inox as I haven't sprayed it on line, but i always take care of my line. Another problem simalir to this is when the bottom end of the line spool gets wet then it will slowly degrade the line qaulity. I usually run the line out and spool it back up with the line running through a dry cloth. If I was you this is what I would be doing to prevent ur line from loosing strenth

It's UV light that degrades the line not water. I'd be more worried about spool corrosion. This can be a problem with braid which retains moisture. It's a good idea to run it out once and a while and rinse it with freshwater and dry and then respool.

I also noticed that but there have been times when I've logged on after fix on this site and a whole heap of old posts pop up, I've nearly answered a few except the posters have usually been MIA for quite a few years, then I check the dates.
