North Island NZ

Hi all,
heading over to NZ for a quick 4 day fishing trip with a mate late Feb. Will be offshore and was looking to hear from anyone who has been over and fished offshore. We have no concrete plans and are leaving it up to my mates friend who is based over there and will plan our attack when we know what the conditions are going to be like. From what i hear it is Marlin time and would certainly like to be in with a shot. Apparently there is a Marlin comp on not long after we head back home and this little trip will be a reco mission for him prior to the comp.
