Have a go at the size of this thing! All i can say is , Mono when are u bringing yours up!!
Turd Mountains ... man there was some serious weed in spots.
Now, i must say that lucky phill your slugs are by far the best dam lures we had on the trip!! They caught all these:
Tuna, Tailor, Bonito, Queenfish, Dart.. the list go's on.
So anyways, we started running out of the buggers! So when we lost a few on the rocks my mate decided that low tide
would be a good time to get them bak! With some big noahs swiming right infront of us he does the dash to retrieve a lucky phill slug.
Got it!
the end result.
Small (just legal .. man it tasted good!! ) Coronation trout.

LOL the indian pass, thats where you want a landrover jas ;D good to hear the hill is alive and well, should only get better as more refreshments are called for ;D not an easy place to fish when the current is racing.
Great story JB. Yeh the tyre pressure makes a HUGE difference. I am going to Orchid Beach next week so am interested in what rigs and baits worked best for you by your second day out and did you manage to find live bait at the coffee rocks ?
Cheers
