went chasing whiting down the pin thursday things were a bit slow at first but just on dusk and a half full tide they played the game biggest went 34.5cm buy dark had enough for dinner

If only they grew as big as barra they would be THE prize fish to catch!!

I think I'm due to target whiting again for another season soon!

Good fishing mate. Have never fished the pin for them before.

2 Quuestions; Yabbies or worms?? Drifting or anchor??

lone _wolf the area aruond the slipping sands on the sand banks there were a few showers but always keep the rain coat handy

franco yabbies and on anchor and casting on to the sand bank where i got my yabbies in front of slipping sands

you know the ruler. Its the 1,he cut out that section 8 -15cm then put back together ;D

nice catch by the way. Thats the general area I got a few a couple of weeks ago

Nice Slappers Dave, been workin heaps an its good to see someone gettin into em.
I fish in the passage, between Donnybrook an Caloundra, and we certainly get our fair share of thumpers up here as well, nothin better than a big run on ultra light gear and slingin in some of those K.G imitations!

Well done mate, great time of year!
