Would do it easy.as with all sand driving watch for clearance in deep grooves and have a snatch strap and air compressor on board so someone can pull you out if ya get stuck.90% of driving is on the beach which is like drivin on a good dirt road with no corrigations. The balance is on designated tracks which are well used. Most difficult part is entering and leaving beach and goin around headlandsJust watch someone else an use common sence.

was up there a couple of weeks ago saw a lots of AWD's only one got bogged but i think it was only to lack of experience when in a patch that was soft (looked like a first timer).the tracks were easy and there were heeps of other 4WD's around if you get stuck. like jimbamb said just invest in a snatch strap just in case.

Yes I have seen a Subaru Forester up there , ran around on Fraser OK , got bogged getting off the barge coming back at Inskip Point, but it had been chopped up a fair bit and he was towing a trailer. :P
