Headed up to Turkey for the weekend with hopes of some good weather and good fishing and we got both. Fished various spots over the weekend varying from 2 mile from the ramp up to 50 mile. Got some good trout, red throat, hussar, aj, grassies, parrott etc out at the reef on Saturday. Sunday we stayed in close and bagged out on spotties and one spaniard. Could have caught as many spotties as you would like. Going to be a good season if this weekend was anything to go by.
It was the first trip with my new plotter (gps map 172). Very happy with it and it made life very easy knowing were the green zones are.

Perko,

Some great fish there mate. Another Fishing Hotspot in CQ. And yes, you did pick the best weekend weather wise that we have had for a while.

Good stuff,

Well done again. No reds though? Only those yukky trout. Hope you let them go.

So Tibby got a start hey? I though she got the sack till she could back up a second day so you could do an overnighter.
