Double Bag Out banks #21/11/05

We got to the ramp at Mooloolabah at 1.30am, headed to the banks with good conditions, we travelled out at 40ks an hour, arrived at spot X at 3.30am fish started biting straight away.

A few squire came on board first followed by a couple of pearlies, As daybreak began the snapper started chewing, # By this time all hell broke loose snapper coming in one after another. As the sun got up the parrot came on the chew.

Days catch 10 Snapper 10 Parrot 2 Trag and 2 pearlies and 1 Black King. Left Barwons at 8.30am with flat conditions travelling at 45 knots, tried bait grounds on way home and did no good, arrived home at 12.30pm. Had a good day fishing.

Thats a great catch man. The old man and me haven't ventured out to the banks yet. We've been doing alot of fishing at wide cal. How long does it take to get out there? Could you give me some tips at all for fishing the area at all?

Nice fish Pete, typical weekday weather, I was hoping it would hold for the weekend but looks like I'm out of luck for another week.

hi fixation
takes about 1.5to two hrs
to get to barwons depends on weather
i used to do a bit at w/cal but not for some time
good snapper and pearlie country
