Left Moolooba 2 pm Wednesday arvo headed out on our first night trip to the banks, 5 people on board. The Fish were quiet till 7pm, then it all happened from then, had a steady stream of snapper , pearlies, reds, a huge cod, hussa , moses perch. Bag limits weren't a problem, with a few parrot between. Returned back to M'ba 2am . We are keen to get back out there. #Anyone else out there, think the fishing is better at night than day out there. I look forward to anyone's opinion.... #Can only put one photo on, can anyone explain how to put muliples photos on...[]

Ditto to both your comments. Good catch Lucyloo. I heard you out there Wed night ammending your logoff time. I was in Snapshot. Not experienced enough to know if night is better than day yet.
Cheers, Scotty.

dfox is right, parrot sleep at night, back up into the rocks & cover themselves in slime (so the story goes)
like I should. ;D

sorry to say lads but legal reds are 55 and unless its an optical illusion you could be in for a bit of stick there.just for the record a just undersize red goes over 3 and a bit kilo so that little fulla is well short. least you know for the future if no badged men check your post first. :'(

Is that an E.Cod and if it is what are they like to chew on? Been picking the odd one up on the plakkys but have thrown them all back because they looked to pretty and not that tasty. Most I've caught between 35cm-60cm, what the legal size.
