Spotlight foe fishing

Gday all I dont know wether this is in the right categoriy but what i want to know as i plan to go out fishing monday night for some mulloway and I want to buy a spotlight..

What i have in mind is that the spotlight must be able to connect upto the battery on my boat...As i have been told that the recharble spotties are no good as they lose there charge after 1/2hours use

What do you guys reckon

8) 8)yr best bet is to go to supercheap, and by a cig lighter
fitting and rig it up in your boat, then u can also run fluros
and spotlights from it plus any other accessory
