Right,

I'm off next weekend (22nd - 24th) flyfishing at Somerset Dam.

As I have not fished there at all can anyone tell me the best spots for Togas? And perhaps what flies to use?

I have a map (fitzy i think) and it does give an idea where the fish are, but im looking for a place called "the flats"

Has anyone heard that before?

Rosso.

G'Day rosso

I think what ur talking about is what they call flats ??? these are large sections of little change in depth or contour. these place often hold good numbers of fish and the use of a sounder will help in find these fish. there r a few flats. the most popular and sometime the most produstive one is Queen Street. (just south of the kirkleagh) there is also bay 13 and a few other smaller ones.....

Hope this helps

CJ;)

P.S have no idea on the 'toga never got one from there :-/
