Hi all, i have just taken up saltwater fly, and i need some help.
I am looking for a large arbour reel,to fish 10/12 wt. and about 200m braid backing.is there any reel around that doesn't cost a fortune. All the local outlets are quoting $400-$900 for one. I believe that there is an okuma integrity 10/11 for around $150.
Has anyone used one? Also no outlets in vic seem to stock them.
Give me your thoughts .
Thanks,
Dudley

Well you could try the Okuma, the big one, nice drag and holds lotsa line, or the Fenwick. Bit dearer but useful and nice drag. Fit either to a Temple Fork 11/12 and you is in buzzness. Max

I've just baught a Teton Tioga size 12 for $250 Canadian. Which is about $300 Australian.

It's a great reel machined from solid aluminium bar stock, fully anodised atc. and has the same drag as the more expensive Teton's.
