Does anyone know if you can buy a rod repair machine for replacing eyelets on rods.
I remember seing one rigged up off a sewing machine years ago but have not seen one since.
Thanks

HI TROY
I AM SLIGHTLY CONFUSED BY YOUR QUESTION.
DO YOU MEAN REPLACING LINE GUIDES?
IF SO YOU CAN ROLL THE ROD BY HAND TO REBIND THE GUIDES.
IF YOU REALLY GET SERIOUS ABOUT ROD BUILDING YOU CAN PURCHASE A "ROD LATHE"
THEY RUN ON A SEWING MACHINE MOTOR AND HAVE SELF CENTREING CHUCKS AND ROLLER SUPPORTS. ALSO HAVE SLOWER SMALL MOTOR FOR ROTATING ROD WHILE RESIN DRIES.
AUSFISH ADVERTISERS WOULD HAVE THEM AVAILABLE .

HOPE THIS HELPS

Sorry Noelm,
No offence meant and not angry.

Did not realise I was committing an etiquette offence.

I just like caps ;D

troy,

Could you post a pic of your subject, might make answering easier.

I build rods from time to time, and can manage without a lathe....only just.
