Towing a 542f with a toyota Kluger

Im interesed in hearing from anyone towing the 542f with a Kluger

it will do it. and not too bad either just got to watch the weight they are only rated to 1400kg.
I dont have a 542f but my boat is about the same size have towed it with a commodore and the kluger. i think commodore was better

If the Kluger is only rated to 1400kg then dont put the 542F anywhere near it as the Haines catalouge lists them at 1690kg towing weight :o

Check the weight of the complete package as it is towed. My 542F goes 1480Kg with a full tank of fuel. Not sure on the kluger specs but the towbar should have a rating plate on it. Just have to keep it to the towbar specs. If it is the 540 again check the weight on a weighbridge, you might be surprised.

the kluger has a toyota towbar rating of 1400kg which is the same as the cars rating
