just got back from lake leslie. managed to get a few yellas, nothing special but were the first ones weve managed in a QLD impoundment, hopefully more to come and bigger ones

nice fish mate!! did they go hard?? what did you get them on again??

nah mate yellas dont go that hard ey, sorta give up half way in, but still love catching em. just something different i guess, there a kewl looking fish anyways.

we caught all the fish from the bank on worms and shrimp, with worms being the better bait surprisingly,

and all the fish we caught from the boat were on trolled brolgas, oar-gee plows and vipers in greens and yellows

Mate, Leslie dam is the reason I brought a boat!! ;D ;D
Fish from a boat towards the wall (rocky cliff) in 6m of water with live shrimps (pull the bait about a metre from the bottom) and I always got a feed.
Best day was bagging out in one and 1/2 hours
It was a bugger when everybody found out I was there instead of working ::)
Pity there is hardly 6m of water left in the dam though
