Awoke saturday morning at around 3.30am and picked up one of the zachinni brothers and headed to Lake X. As you know it was mostly clouded and water temp was 29oC.
We used every technique from fly, SP's to lures and I only managed around 10-13 Bass. I shouldn't say "only managed" because looking at over reports, we did quite well, but for this place is very average.
Most were caught around structure, but did manage to find quite a few big schools of Bass however were not playing the game. 8 Bass out of those were of legal size so can't complaint too much.
Overall a fantastic day on the water and can only see one more fishout trip before my wife pushes out twin girls in about 5 weeks.
