After spending a few hours finding the headwaters of a river I found a little hole which looked a likely spot. ;) Went back that night and got slammed second cast. He peeled off some line and went bush :o so I had to get into the water (waist deep) and pull him out. After a few more short bursts I got him up on the rocks, slipped on my butt, and was smiling the whole time :)

Didn't measure it because I forgot my tape and my leader. I had my lure straight to braid and didn't want to cut my bimini to measure the bass. ;D Recon that it would be between 45-50cm.
Jackash most of the rivers around the goldcoast will hold bass. All you gotta do is find some fresh water. ;) This one came from a goldcoast river some where near um... :-X Mwahahahaha.....NEVER!!!!
Cheers guys. :) :)
