Shot out to Moogerah this morning. Threw evereything in my arsenal at the banks but couldn't buy a hit. Plenty of ski boats around and large wakes hitting the shore :-?. Started trolling the main basis and ended up with 4 fish up to 42 cm. They may not be large but are they fat.

I've included a pic of the biggun but apologise for the pic quality, one of those nasty ski boats was rocking me around a bit. School holidays >:(

Cheers

Hi

I was also at Moogerah today, between the three of us we caught 50-60 bass the best 6 went around the 50cm mark. All in excellent condition very fat. Luckily we left early enough to miss the storms that built up. All in all a great day commenced at 6.30am finished by midday. All fish caught trolling the creek bed in about 2.4 m of water.

Thanks Canoedle

Had a quick look on Sunwater which says its at 6%. There's still plenty of water, up to 40 feet plus towards the wall. With the storms we copped this arvo might add a bit :). The ramp is gravel but I didn't have any probs dragging the boat out in my C'dore station wagon.

Cheers Paul

I thought moogerah was just a puddle at the moment.
I would have thought it was too dangerous to waterski there now.
Do you think there is more fish per unit volume now? ;)
