Hi all, I got a bit of a problem in the way I use my burley. The problem is I fish for Drummer quite a lot around the central coast and the best way of burling of the rocks is stuffing some bread in an onion sack, tying it of and throwing it in the wash. It works great for a while but it eventually gets smashed up on the rocks and all the bread floats away. We used to soak some bread in a bucket of water and throw handfuls in but the onion sack works much better. I was wondering if anyone knew of a better way of replacing the onion sack.
Any Suggestions Most Appreciated. :)
Thanks. Frog.

Have you tried a piece of PVC storm water pipe , capped of one end , with a screw on cap on the other , then drill holes in the lenght of the pipe , the pipe can be weighted down if needed & is a bit more robust than a onion sack.
