G'day all

???Just wondering if any fellow fishos have caught any jew on feathered jigs in SE qld.

I can hook'em down at Illuka ;D by just casting out into the white water and ripping'em back(don't let it touch the bottom thou ;)) but just can't seem to do the same up here :'(

???maybe have try different approach :-/

Congrat's on catching jewies on lures anywhere! This is a fishing goal of mine so if you don't mind please give some more info on how you got them at Illuka.
I assume you were fishing off the rocks when you were casting "into the wash". I ask this because I have read about mulloway being caught on lures during the day, off the beach at the Murrys' mouth in SA.
Was it during the day, after a flood, overcast etc.

Off the rocks and fish the slack water of a:olow tide and yes like down at Goolwa during the day ;)(I'm a ex croweater as well)
