Got a 25 aswell, have GPS and Weathersense, top notch piece of equipment for the money, great sounder with great features, dual beam, 85 or 200hrtz or dual 80/200.. upto 6x zoom, temp built into transducer, easy to use, easy to add accessories, nice big clear screen with nice resolution for displaying snags and stuff

I used to work for BLA (humminbird) and i know the service guys pretty well. I have spoken to them on these units and even they are very impressed with the units. There simply the same housing as humminbird units but the internals are totally different and very advanced compared to other sounders on the market. The repair rate on these units is very good with only minor problems.

I recenty used a matrix on Fishfingers1977 boat out from the reefs at DI Point and found the unit pretty good. I usaully use colour units but still found the B&W pretty good. I would love to try out the new colour matrix as i think it would be a top unit for a good price.
Cheers Greg

www.basspro.com or www.cabelas.com sell them, $99 US for the Antenna, works out around $140-$150 for it in Aust.. but the shipping is a real decider

ok boys, after some research into these things, i finally bought my matrix20 from the states. comes complete with gps and temp. things you cant chang are,
1.. miles to kilometers but you can read naughtical miles.
2.. temp readings from faren to celc.
3.. depth from feet or fathoms to meters.
other than that i'm quit happy with the unit. reads all that i wont to know down where i wont to see.
went to several stores to buy same unit here in sydney and none have gps included. to buy unit by itself cost around $700. gps access another $ 350. my cost all up including post and handling...........$369. gotta be HAPPY with that. and yes it's brand new still in the box. hope that helps you all..... Guys,
Just purchased a matrix 27 and a matrix 67 from the states. New models. The matrix 67 comes complete with waas gps antenae while the 27 dosen,t it is extra. Price for the units landed here including freight are the 27 $379.00 Aus and the 67 was $690.00 Aus. Can,t beat it. The going price here for a 67 is in the mid $1500's, so tell me if i can land these here for that price, Someone is making a killing on mark up??? BLA maybe??? and they wonder why you buy from the states!!!!

Hi guys,
I have been trying to find a good price on the matrix 67. Can anybody give me some advice on where to find it at a cheap price? And how to go about getting it. just ring a few places like Northside Marine, Glascraft Marine, Springwood and well the phone book is full of them, pay cash and they might sell it at a better price, can't go wrong with a matrix, the shear amount of user level adjustments and the interfacing options available is worth the price of admission alone. What sort of boat did you get Gorza?

Ok thanx m8. I bought a 5 1/2 metre stejcraft. Not a monster boat but big enough for my needs at the moment.
