Looking to buy a new sounder gps combo
My choice JRC PLOT FISH FINDER
PLOT 500F with sea map includes green zones
Any other suggestions
It will be going in a 5:2 mtr boat

after doing heaps of research, got one abt a year ago from Trymax Marine (very helpful) - awesome unit particularly in manual modes - excellent value for money under 2 grand - CMap a must but not 100% accurate - no substitute for a good lookout particularly at night

You can still get the JRC FF50 sounder only from Ebay.com or american sites. This is the plot less the Gps. Apparently it is easier to use than the combo unit. A lot of fishos on this site rave about it....... ;)

Thanks fellows
Yes I have thought about the JRC FF50 for the price
the combo looks a better option
My gps needs replacing its a small lowrance hand held getting hard to see
I know need larger glasses
At this stage the combo looks the go,I will check out Trymax
Thanks Kev :)

Have you considered the Navman Trackfish 6600? I have one and it's great.

I have looked at the Navman, still favouring the JRC
At this stage might buy before XMAS santa might be good to me.
