A few pics from some recent jigging trips(the last month),while the numbers have still been there all but one spot has only yeilded rat size Kings. The first pic is of the only fish we(the young fella and my self)managed to pull of a particular pin out of Ballina, the following three passes resulted in three rather costly jigs being taken to the Kingies trophy room, needles to say we went looking for less cranky ground.

G'day Chemmy,we try to get all the fish back in the water as quick as possible so none get weighed or measured,I'm not good at guessing weight but if pushed I'd say 10 to 12 kg's for the bigger Kingie? and 4 to 5 for the smaller one?,the Red probably around 3.
G'day Jeffo, yes you have to love it,my mate and I are finding ourselves bypassing the Snapper grounds and heading out to go jigging every time the sea will allow.Your spot on with your call on the jigs, although I have a few different makes it seems that the Jigs Ace tends to "throw the switch" and get them going then the others will take fish. The first fish was taken on a 370 squid in green Mackeral(that's it's replacement in the reds mouth),we then lost two of the same in pink mackeral and a 420 long in burnt eggs, probably the most consistant fish taker for me over all would be the 420 long in dorado glo,the young fella loves his pink glo in the same style.
