went to bribie this afternoon 2/10 for a quick fish with the kids, we got to red beach and the tide was half in, Set the youngest rod up through it out for her went back to set up the next and remind the eldest what a bloodknit was, when the 6 yo squeals I got one, turn around expecting to see her fighting the sinker but nice 27 cm sand whiting. Repeat next cast 35cm. And that was it all fish caught in the first 5 mins and before I'd even got my reel out of the bag I think need to go for the first of the flood on Monday for a few hours
