hi all. i have been getting annoyed with macks taking my live baits whilst still on the jig and destroying the jigs in the process so i have made my own. took me an hour to do it using single strand wire, size 2 chemically sharpened suicides and a bit of bling ranging from coloured plastic to some tinsel i removed from a hairy back. then coated in 2 pack epoxy. 5 little flies all spaced on the wire should see it last a bit better than a regular sabiki jig. added bonus is the wire being stiff tends to keep the hooks from fouling each other. never know, i might even be lucky and nail a mack on my bait jig;)

oh, and i know my binding work is crap but hey, i'm not a rod builder...

really not impressed with your lack of detail as a sabuki jig has 6 hooks.
looking good if you get a mac on 1 then im changing my tactics...

You're gunna be pissed on the days when the fish are tuned into only one of those flys. On the plus side, one of them should work most of the time.

yep, just ordered some. 4 for under 10 bucks beats the amount of time i spent on 1. will still have to make the flies tho.

blooded it the other day. hooked a small yakka - in the tail. mate was killing me with a regular jig so i cut all the flies down to half size. will see how that goes next time.
