My setup..............

Six rod holders/Gaff/dive flag etc...
lots of stability
tons of space
easy access
also have safety bins for dry gear and fishing lures etc..........
and pods can be used as an esky as the bottom section is foam filled
Can also fit my esky rack on the back..which is primarily used to carry 3 x 25 lites fuel containers for going over to the islands for a few days fishing or spearfishing.....

Mainly used to go to inside of Frazer Island departing from Urangan. Camp on the inside of the island which we use as base camp. From there we go out off the Nothern and Eastern part of Frazer.

Also use from 1770 up to Bustard heads.....

The sounderis mounted on a stainless plate with another stainless backing plate. Nice and solid. The transducer is mounted on a stainless plate off the back. Had my doubts how well it would work with the transducer sitting next to the jet unit but I get perfect readings even at full speed. In the compartment behind the handle bars there is a kill swith for the sounder/GPS as well as a swith for the LED nav lights.

That's a good rig Shagga. Where do you normally fish?

Mainly fish Pumicestone Passage and Jumpin Pin. Only fish with soft plastics. Keen to explore the islands in the southern part of the bay as soon as time permits.

If you're ever keen to go wide, I'll put you on the spots if you teach me how to catch a fish with a soft plastic. Last time I tried a soft plastic the bloody grinners bit in in half

Here's mine. Still needing to mount some angled rod holders for a better spread that I rigged this up over a couple of hours and a few beers with bits n bobs that I had lying around. Need to buy a couple of rod holders to allowangling and spreading the trolled rods.
It's an 80 litre esky held in place by two stainless turnbuckles, and does zero damage to the ski and stayed 100% secure the entire trip. All through-bolted with large washers internally.

Proof of concept worked on its first half day outing on 8-1-2013 where I hit the Trench and the 80 metre line east of huchies to go 2-2-0 on a small black and a Wahoo. I'm only into pelagic fishing from the ski (have a tinnie for the rivers) so I'll focus on fine tuning it for the blue water.

It was my birthday so I enjoyed a midday beer at one of my favourite places :)
