As many regular Lake Wivenhoe anglers would know, the fish can be spread out in the lake and many have a favourite spot.
To assist in accessing the various areas of the lake, competitors may drive to other access points around Lake Wivenhoe and launch from there. Competitors who are also members of clubs that have their own land leases may also launch from these locations eg Hays Landing / Billies Bay. So long as they are at the Logan Complex at the start end end of each session for head count, this is acceptable.
Other public access points include: Hamon Cove, Branch Creek, OShea's Crossing and Somerset Park.
