What a brilliant day on Sunday down the GC.!! ;D

Up at sparras, down to the ramp at 3.45am.....two & a dog there !!! ;D

Easy launch on the ramp.....beach it off to one side while I park up.....me old mate K-Dog turns up with his you-beaut Yalta......and away we go ........
Two boats.......4 people.........heaps of everything for a top day........
Great weather.........not many others out there ( I counted 6 at that time )

Off to a couple of marks............Schools of Baitfish lighting up the sounder
Here we come fellas ! Open up !! Daddy's hungry !! ;D;D;D
Nothing..............................not a bloody thing..........:'(

24 North......Bugger all........24SE .......Bugger all.......36 SE.........Bugger all.
Focus..............Bugger all :'(

Tried all the baits..............nothing
Flicked SP's, Jigged Squid.......................Still nothing.
Coupla other spots on the way back in.......Zip......nada.....nothing.....stuff all !!
Checked the underarm to see if it was me, all ok there..................well........ :-[

Finished up catching a small squire, and I DO mean small !....and a ?????

No idea what it was......orangy colour..........stripes........small anyway.....

Back to the ramp at 12.........K-Dog allready gorn...same thing with him.

The very next boat retrieving...off gets a young bloke, carrying a Maui Maui that he was tripping over....
Felt like saying .........................."Bastard !" :D

Anyone else have a slow day ????

We had roughly the same type of day,

went north to sullies, bait everywhere, just not interested in the bait jig, had a fish for nothing, headed out to the 50's for 5 undersize pearlies and one undersize kingie, we landed one legal pearly and that was it for the day.

Trolled all the way home for nothing not even a touch.

Although on the way up to sullies we had a small marlin free jump about 30 mtrs infront of us.
